El-Shadan Tautolo (Samoan, Cook Island) is an Associate Investigator for the Au- Pacific Child wellbeing project. El-Shadan is an Associate Professor at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in the School of Public Health El-Shadan. Director of the Pacific Island Families (PIF) study, a longitudinal cohort study tracking the health and the development of 1398 Pacific children and their families. El-Shadan has an extensive and a diverse background in research including Pacific health research, child health, maternal health, tobacco control, men’s health, Pacific respiratory health, and mental wellbeing. El-Shadan is committed to improving outcomes for our Pacific peoples by doing research that creates change and impact.
